Residential School at University of Glamorgan 16-18 April 1996
The seventh Residential School at the University of Glamorgan was held on 16-18 April 1996. Previous meeting had been held in 1977, 1980, 1983, 1986, 1989 and 1993.
The programme was in two parts.
Part 1. (Tues/Wed 16/17 April). Lectures and tutorials in interpretation of organic, inorganic and polymer spectra with practical interpretative exercises carried out on and individual basis.
Part 2. (Thurs 18 April). Practical experience of spectroscopic measurments and computer applications with modern accessories and software.

Provision was made to register for accommodation and meals on the evening of Thursday 18th April at which Bill Fateley gave his famous talk on "the Art of Escher" for which bar facilities were available. This preceded the 149th IRDG Meeting on Friday 19th April 1996
